My Easy French Onion Soup and you need NO special My Easy French Onion Soup and you need NO special bowls for baking!

Ingredients •

1 box of chateau bread dumplings (thawed) or French Bread
1 to 2 cups shredded gruyere cheese
4 or 5 fresh thyme stems
3 Tablespoons of Better Than Bouillon Beef Bouillon
8 cups of water
4 Cups of sliced yellow onions (about 6 medium sized onion)
1/2 cup dry white wine
3 tablespoons of flour
1 tablespoon of brown sugar
3 Tablespoons of Butter + 2 Tablespoons of Butter
1 tablespoon of olive oil
3 or 4 or more of sliced garlic cloves
1 tablespoon of Gravy Master (in the soup or gravy aisle in a small brown bottle with a yellow label) or substitute 1 Tablespoon of soy sauce
2 bay leaves
Salt, pepper & paprika

Slice all of your onions and add then to a stock pot with butter and olive oil. Cook them on low and slow for 35 minutes or, so stirring often, until they are golden brown. Don’t rush this! The add your garlic and sauté for a few.

Add the brown sugar and some salt and pepper, then gravy master, stir, then then 3 tablespoons of flour, stir, then add in the white wine and simmer for 2 minutes.

Add your bay leaves and your thyme, then add your bouillon and then the water. Stir well, bring to a boil and then reduce heat and simmer for 35 minutes.

Meanwhile place your dumplings on a sheet pan with foil, I set this on top of the recipe pot to slowly warm, make sure there’s room for steam to escape the soup. When it’s near the 35 min mark, spread your dumplings with butter, season with salt, pepper and fresh thyme, bake at 450° for 5 minutes, pull them out, add the Gruyere to each one, sprinkle some more black pepper and paprika and bake until the cheese is bubbly.

Serve your soup in bowls then float one or two dumplings on top and serve!

The steps are saved to a story highlight called french onion.

Serve this with white wine and a nice arugula salad! A perfect meal for Valentine’s Day! ❤️

I use the dumplings cause they don’t fall apart like bread.

The steps are in my story

Simplest Supper Of ALL Time Italian Sausage and C Simplest Supper Of ALL Time

Italian Sausage and Chili Garlic Spaghetti 🍝

•boil one pound of spaghetti
• in a skillet add some olive oil and sear off and cook four Italian sausage links, these were stuffed with mozzarella and giardiniera from a local grocery, you can use any kind
• when the sausage is cooked, set aside, lower the heat in the pan and add 1/4 cup olive oil and as much sliced garlic as you like. I used marinated garlic I got from my stores olive bar.
• chop up some chili peppers, I used chili Arbol. If you want this not spicy, add a handful of red peppers. Add this to the garlic and olive oil. Let it slowly warm in the olive oil
• add in two tablespoons of oregano and also allow it to warm in the olive oil
• when the pasta is cooked, use some tongs and add it right to your olive oil mixture in the skillet, increase the heat and stir fry that spaghetti around, coating it with all the garlic, herbs and peppers
• add in a cup or two of really good grated Parmesan, toss around until it’s all melty, if it’s too dry add a little pasta water
• serve in a bowl, top with the sausages, serve with crusty bread and butter and an arugula salad

This is in my story right now, and I will save it to a highlight before it expires in stories!

When I make this you all ask me for the recipe and When I make this you all ask me for the recipe and I realize I never post it. So here it goes!

Savory Sausage and Peppers

*there are no super specific measurements here, it will turn out no matter what

6 to 8 Italian sausage links
1 jar of marinated artichoke hearts
1 jar of roasted red peppers
1 onion chopped
1 jar of pepperocini
4 or 5 garlic cloves
Olive Oil
Oregano, Salt & Pepper
1 can of seasoned diced tomatoes, like the basil garlic one

• remove the sausage from the casing and toss in a pan, I use a standard casserole dish, break the sausage up into smaller pieces, they don’t have to be even.

• toss the sausage with all the other ingredients, don’t drain the liquid from the peppers and artichokes or tomatoes

• season everything with oregano and salt and pepper

• cover your casserole with foil and bake for two hours at 350°, at the two hour mark, uncover, stir well and bake uncovered for 30 more minutes.

I serve this with pasta or with toasted French rolls for a great sandwich!

Easy meal and makes great leftovers.

@kame_brand reached out to me on Instagram a few @kame_brand reached out to me on Instagram a few months back and asked if they could send me some products to try. I said yes but wasn’t planning on taking on any more partnerships. As soon as I tried their products I was sold! I said yes because their name stands for The Key To Asian Made Easy and it’s so true. The sauces and noodles are so delicious and easy to use and honestly, taste better than a lot of take out Asian! I buy this stuff all the time when I run out of the stuff they send me. This is a recipe for Spicy Chicken & Noodles that’s now live on my blog. Click the blue link in my profile. This dish is spicy and sweet. You will love it! The blog post and my stories right now have information on where to buy these products.

I made this pasta 🍝dinner in 6 minutes in my Instant Pot. Creamy Parma Rosa Ravioli. Here is what you need to make it:⁣⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣⁣
• 1 25 oz package of frozen ravioli, I used the cheese one from @aldiusa ⁣⁣⁣⁣
• 1 14.5 Ounce Can of Diced Tomatoes⁣⁣⁣⁣
• 3T of Butter⁣⁣⁣⁣
• 14.5 Ounces of Milk ⁣⁣⁣⁣
• 1 Envelope of @knorr Parma Rosa Sauce Mix. Found in the grocery 🛒aisle with the powdered gravy. ⁣⁣⁣⁣
• Dried Parsley & Good Quality Parmesan for garnish.⁣⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣⁣
✔️Whisk the Parma Rosa packet with the milk and tomatoes. Add all the ingredients to the Instant Pot except for the Parmesan and Parsley. ⁣⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣⁣
✔️Make sure the ravioli are covered in the tomato, tomato juices and milk. Cover, use the manual setting, set to high, and set the timer to 6 minutes. ⁣⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣⁣
✔️When the timer goes off, do a quick release. ⁣⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣⁣
✔️When it’s done, let it sit for ten minutes for the sauce to thicken. This dish doesn’t yield a super thick sauce, it is normal for it to be more like a broth. Top with the Fresh Parmesan and Parsley. Serve with some crusty bread to soak up that good sauce. ⁣
⁣
*I have an older mode Instant Pot so I don’t get the burn notice on mine, one or two people have told me they did which is why I say don’t stir ⁣⁣⁣⁣

Yes you can make this on the stove by just making the sauce separately and boiling the ravioli

If you follow my stories you may remember that I g If you follow my stories you may remember that I got a VERY special delivery from @verocoffeegelato . They dropped off their gelatos and coffee for me to try. Unfortunately I was still recovering from being sick and had NO taste or smell so I saved my sampling until my taste came back. Well it’s BACK BABY and what a way to celebrate! Holy smokes this stuff is good. Vero is a family owned and operated small business from the Chicagoland area. For the last 50 years they have been making Italian specialties including this Chicago Pothole Gelato which is award winning. It’s got candied pecans, marshmallow and Chocolate chunks. I also love this pistachio! Check out their IG for where you can buy and also for online ordering information!

Thank you for this delicious treat, it was definitely worth the wait!
