Made a Mexican inspired Tuna Poke. I use the frozen ahi tuna from aldi. It’s sushi quality because it’s been frozen long enough for there to be no danger of bacteria.

✔️I used two bags, them combined it with finely minced red onion
✔️4 minced green onion, both the white and green part
✔️1/2 cup rice wine vinegar
✔️4 T of tamari sauce
✔️4 T of brown sugar + a little bit of chili powder and a squeeze of lime.
✔️Dissolve the brown sugar in the vinegar and tamari before adding
✔️I also added a minced jalapeño.

*you can thaw the tuna in the fridge overnight or thaw it but letting it sit in cold water

✔️Serve with cucumbers, guacamole and tortilla chips for a fun snack!

My creamy make ahead breakfast casserole recipe using my secret ingredient from @wundercreamery which is Quark. Quark is actually a cheese that’s similar to yogurt or sour cream without the sour. It makes this potato casserole extra good.

My aunt sent me this recipe for potato casserole and it was so good, I made it two days in row. Here’s how you make it :⁣
⁣
• 30 oz bag of frozen hash browns ⁣
• 1 can of any kind of “cream of” soup⁣
• 1 cup of Quark⁣
• 3 cups of any kind of shredded cheese ⁣
• 1 stick of butter melted⁣
• salt and pepper ⁣
⁣
Mix it all up in a bowl, dump it in a greased casserole and bake at 375° for about 45 minutes. ⁣You can also mix this the night before and bake the next day.

He made me this peach pie with fresh peaches 🍑 I brought him from Michigan. I can’t begin to describe how good this pie is. The flaky, buttery crust is perfection. The peaches were sweet and he added a unique spice to them to bring out the flavors even more.
