    Last week when I was at the lake house our friend mentioned snacking on some dried beef. While I would never probably buy the beef just to snack on, it did trigger a memory of a recipe I saw in my Grandma’s cookbook of a party dip that was popular in the 1960’s.     This year I was given the privilege of a Media Pass to attend Chicago Gourmet presented by Bon Appetit.  This incredible festival has been taking place in Chicago’s iconic Millenium Park for ten years!  If you aren’t familiar, it is a food fest like no other.
