New Disneyland Foods I Tried In Summer 2025

Food Thoughts From My Most Recent Disneyland Trip

While you may know me as The Tipsy Housewife, I also have a secret identity. When I hear the call of the most magical place on Earth I become the Tipsy Mousewife.

The travel section of my site is even divided between Disney Travel and all other travel. Of course the main focus of my site, however, is food.

Put it all together and you get my absolute obsession with Disney food. My mission to try and review as much Disney Deliciousness as possible has been well documented on the site.

That means I’m always looking to try Disney foods I haven’t sampled yet and my most recent trip to Disneyland was no exception.

Here are all the new Disney foods I tried and whether I think you should give them a shot the next time you’re in Anaheim.

Cowboy Fries

Imagine a burger and fries but smushed all together without the bun. You’ve pretty much imagined these Cowboy Fries which are served at the Old West Saloon-styled Golden Horseshoe in Frontierland.

The fries are all mixed up with ground beef, burger sauce, and pickles and topped with nacho cheese.

My expectations weren’t too high for this sloppy cowboy pile, but I really enjoyed it more than I thought I would. The cheese sauce was delicious and the fries were cooked perfectly.

Two or three people could easily share these for a snack.

Peach Lemonade with Peach Rings

I have a major passion for peach, so I was quite interested in this drink which features peach puree in addition to the peach lemonade and rings. The ring is rimmed with chili-lime seasoning, another favorite of mine.

You can get it at Harbour Galley in New Orleans Square. Those with deep Tipsy lore knowledge know a fortune teller warned me against ever going to New Orleans, so this might be the closest I ever get.

That isn’t to say this drink is necessarily full of authentic New Orleans flavors, but it is really good.

I was expecting this to be overly sweet, and while it was sweet, it was not cloying. This was quite refreshing and light tasting and the chile lime seasoning took it to the next level.

Artisanal Style Cheese Pizza

This is a pizza offered at the Alien Pizza Planet restaurants in Tomorrowland, which is based on the pizza place in Toy Story with the little green aliens.

You need to be a Magic Key Annual Passholder to order this pizza, so if you suspect you’ll be craving this item you’ll want to get on that or make friends with someone who already has a pass.

Sorry, I can’t take all of you!

The pizza itself consists of San Marzano Tomato Sauce and mozzarella plus it comes with a thermal tumbler and choice of fountain beverage.

I was craving a good wood fired type pizza and was not expecting much from this quick service location. Boy was I surprised.

This pizza was absolutely excellent!

Vietnamese Coffee

If you’ve never had Vietnamese Coffee before, it’s iced coffee but with condensed milk, so it’s sweeter. This Vietnamese Coffee, found at the entrance to the bridge of San Fransokyo Square in California Adventure, holds a special importance for me.

See, one thing I actually do not like about Disney is the coffee. I find most of the coffee at the parks and resorts to be mediocre at best and borderline awful at worst.

Unless you go to the disguised Starbucks in the parks, the Joffrey’s branded coffee is horrific. Good Disney coffee has been my white whale, or Monstro if you will.

I have thrown out full coffees from being bad, but I have kept trying and it finally paid off.

This one was awesome! In fact, I got it three times total!

QuesaBirria

So I was just sitting around, enjoying my Vietnamese Iced Coffee when I became distracted by some delicious sights and smells. It suddenly seemed like everyone around me was enjoying this QuesaBirria.

If you’ve never had birria before, it’s kind of like a French Dip taco. This version is made with braised beef and cheese with tomatillo salsa and the consomme for dipping.

Seeing everyone enjoy it made me have to try it. It was delicious!

It has really authentic flavors and a big serving. I also got a Cucumber-Chia Agua Fresca to drink which was very refreshing.

Peach Dole Whip

As I’ve already said, I go crazy for peach, so you can imagine I was excited to try this new Dole Whip flavor. I was able to get one at the Tropical Hideaway in Adventureland and it did not disappoint.

I was pleasantly surprised with how delightfully fragrant this was!

Bengal Rice Plate

I get Bengal BBQ every time I come to Disneyland but this was my first time trying the rice and slaw combo plate instead of just the skewers.

There are a lot of different skewer choices, including spicy beef, Polynesian chicken, pork belly, and veggies so you can probably find something you’d enjoy regardless of spice comfort or vegetarian status.

As far as my review of the plate, there’s a reason I always got to Bengal BBQ. The skewers never disappoint and the rice and veggies were also fantastic.

It’s such a great option that isn’t fried theme park food. It also perfectly fits in with Adventureland.

World Famous Hot Fudge Sundae

This is a pretty standard hot fudge sundae you can get from the Ghirardelli® Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop in San Fransokyo Square. It’s got your hot fudge, nuts, whipped cream, and a cherry all over vanilla ice cream.

It was just OK. Definitely not worth the price.

The hot fudge was great but the ice cream had zero flavor. I would skip this.

Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwich

You can get this sandwich from River Belle Terrace in Frontierland and sorry to spoil the review, but you definitely should.

The fried chicken sandwich is topped with fried cherry peppers, pickle cole slaw, and BBQ aioli with house fries on the side.

I was literally shocked at how good this chicken was. It’s juicy, perfectly fried, and I loved the addition of peppers.

I would definitely get this again.

So those are my thoughts on the newest Disney delicacies I tried, but I assure you it won’t be this won’t be the last time you’ll be hearing from me on Disney food and experiences.

In fact, stay tuned if you enjoyed this review because I’ll have more articles based on my most recent trip to come in the coming weeks.
