    Creamy Onion Casserole

    October 8, 2019thetipsyhousewife

Let’s face it, when it comes to Thanksgiving and holiday recipes we all have our traditional recipes that we use year after year and that our family’s come to look forward to. As a recipe blogger coming up with new holiday recipes is the most difficult of tasks because we all like what we like. I myself am guilty of this. We keep our Thanksgiving dinner small but we stillĀ  make every single traditional dish because it wouldn’t be Thanksgiving without them. I did want to come up with something a little different this year so I started to peruse…

  • World’s Best Thanksgiving Stuffing

    September 10, 2019thetipsyhousewife

In the real world it is really early to be thinking about Thanksgiving stuffing. But in recipe blogger world, in order for me to have google show this recipe when people search for Thanksgiving recipes come November, I have to post this now. So please bear with me. Stuffing Waffles, they are a thing, trust me. I am all for giving credit where credit is due, but for the life of me I cannot remember where I saw this idea for the first time. I know I did not think it up organically but I did create a recipe of my own for it. You may have never heard of Stuffing Waffles yourself, but they are a great way to use up leftover stuffing and make a great base for leftover turkey sandwiches. Think cranberry mayo too! After making these today, I was also thinking that Stuffing Waffles…

  • Candied Butternut Squash Slices

    September 22, 2018thetipsyhousewife

There are very few recipes of mine that Original Tipsy has asked ME for over the years. But these Candied Butternut Squash Slices are one of the recipes I made for her and she loved so much she asked me to share the recipe with her. I remember the first time I made these Candied Butternut Squash Slices was for a Fall cheese tasting I was hosting at the lake house. I had been inspired by a Butternut Squash recipe I saw in a magazine and added my own twist. The one thing I recommend for making these Candied Butternut…
