Grab & Go Apple Cranberry Sangria Jars
Easy, Breezy, Boozy
They say an apple a day keeps the doctor away.
That’s nice, but it won’t get you buzzed. Let’s put a pin in that and move on to another fruit:
Cranberries.
Cranberries are neat. Did you know that farmers flood cranberry fields as part of the harvest process?
You might already know that if you’d seen certain Ocean Spray commercials with the farmers standing knee deep in the water.
Despite this cool fact, however, I regret to inform you that cranberries will also not get you buzzed.
Why have I presented this cocktail of fruit information for you today?
Because I’ve solved the problem of the boozelessness of apples and cranberries and that’s why I have brought you this recipe for Grab and Go Cranberry Sangria Jars!
Just be sure you only drink where it is advisable and legally acceptable!
The full, printable recipe is at the end of this post but this is a pretty simple one. All you’ll need is apple juice or cider, cranberry juice, vodka, the cheapest red wine you can find, cinnamon, and the fruits of your choice.
I personally like to mix this up and portion it out into 10 16oz Ball canning jars and keep in the fridge to grab and go.
Either way works fine, however. This drink will only get better as it sits in your fridge.
You may want to add ice when you drink it.
It’s like the juice boxes you used to love as a kid, but remixed for adults.
Nostalgia and wine? What else could you ask for?!
