Party Punch
The Start To Any Great Event

Party Punch will be the life of your next party. This has such refreshing flavors with just a touch of sweetness.
Truth be told, when I made this to photograph it for Tipsy, I drank the whole punch bowl by myself over three days.
It did lose some of its carbonation but I was surprised that it was still fairly fizzy and maybe even tasted more delicious with the fruit macerating in the bowl.
This looks really pretty, too, as the centerpiece of your holiday spread. This punch can be potent but you can reduce the alcohol and increase the mixers if you choose.
Add some pops of green, like mint, to dress her up for the holidays.
If you are unfamiliar with maceration, I have an article here on The Tipsy Housewife that explains it all to you. It is a fun little trick to make fruits and veggies even better.

Triple Sec
This is usually the ingredient in my drinks that is unfamiliar to people. This above picture is what triple sec looks like.
There are many brands, but DeKuyper is usually the most affordable option for this drink. Triple Sec has an orange and syrupy citrus flavor to it.
If you want to upgrade the punch, you can also buy a more expensive liquor called Cointreau.

Cointreau has a more refined taste and I believe usually has more alcohol by volume. I usually use the Cointreau for drinks that aren’t mixed with so many other things so I can really enjoy the taste.
The Vanilla Extract
The vanilla extract may be odd to some people. It is used in the recipe to add a full bodied flavor to this punch.
The punch does have some acidic things in it so the vanilla helps mellow it all out. There are times when I have fresh nutmeg around and will zest some into the punch to add a nutty flavor.
Use Some Greenery
If it is the holidays and you are making this punch, feel free to throw some mint in for a pop of color. I also love to use rosemary and sometimes even basil.
You can also add some more limes if you want more of a pop of green.

The Punch Bowl
I inherited my punch bowl from our dear family friend’s Grandma who is no longer with us. I cherish this set.
You can try to find one at thrift stores. I will link one here from Amazon that is really lovely and a great option if you are not ready to invest in the punch bowl life style just yet. *This is an Amazon affiliate link which means if you use the link, Amazon pays me a small commission at no extra charge to you.*
