This is a simple salad that uses up things you have on hand. Typically made with stale bread, this salad is fridge foraging at best. I decided to swap out stale bread with my favorite family owned, Chateau Foods Bread Dumplings . The dumplings make a much better alternative because they don’t absorb the dressing and get soggy. These dumplings can be found in most grocery stores and are in the frozen food section.
I love working with Chateau Foods Inc because they are an immigrant started, family owned, local Chicago company and I love everything about that.
This salad is easy, affordable and will brighten up any table.
