Classic Green Bean Casserole
A Classic Side For The Holidays

Classic Green Bean Casserole is made with canned soup, French fried onions, zesty Worcestershire powder, and decadent butter. This bakes up creamy, flavorful, and delicious.
I love a good green bean casserole. I have been making a Green Bean Casserole Extraordinaire for a few years now.
This version has crispy onion rings in it and it is delicious. I like to make it to serve with pork chops, but I do make a more Classic Green Bean Casserole that everyone loves.
The recipe card is below, but first let me tell you about a few unique ingredients that will take this casserole to the next level.

The Soup
I know the classic recipe for green bean casserole has cream of mushroom soup, but I prefer the Golden Mushroom/Cream of Mushroom soup combo. Sometimes when I want more of a gravy I use two cans of the Golden Mushroom and leave out the creamy mushroom.
The Golden Mushroom adds more of a tangy flavor that I enjoy. I add the brown sugar to sort of round out the two flavors of these soups and it also gives it a caramelized flavor.

Worcestershire Powder
This brand of Worcestershire Powder is on Amazon and you can use this stuff in everything. I prefer it over the liquid Worcestershire sauce because it adds a bigger pop of flavor that really gives it a kick.
I use it in a lot of recipes on the blog. My favorite use is in my Classic Salisbury Steak recipe.
