This is a recipe my Aunt has made for years. It is one of my absolute favorites. It makes a great appetizer for parties and also makes a great lunch or snack at home. It only needs a few ingredients too. Here is what you need:
- 1 Package of Pepperidge Farm Party Bread, I buy the Jewish Rye or the Pumpernickel
- 1 Container of Philadelphia Whipped Chive Cream Cheese
- 1 Seedless Cucumber, sliced into 1/4 inch rounds
- Dried Dill
Now here is the simple part. All you have to do is spread the cream cheese on the toasts, top it with a cucumber and a sprinkle of dill and you’re done!
I serve this on a wooden cutting board with some spinach dip and pita chips. I guarantee your guests will love this light appetizer!
