Ingredients
For The Meatballs
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 Medium size yellow onion, minced
- 1 T Garlic Powder
- 1/2 C Bread Crumbs
- 1/4 Milk
- Salt & Pepper
- 1 Egg
For The Sauce
- 1 18oz Jar of Grape Jelly
- 1 12oz Jar of Chili Sauce
- 1T Cayenne Pepper
- 1T Paprika
- 2T Olive Oil
- 2T Tamari Sauce
- 1T Dried Parsley
To Make The Meatballs
- Combine all the ingredients and mix well using your hands or a wooden spoon
- Form 2inch balls and let rest on a cookie sheet for 30 min.
- Bake in oven at 350 for 20 to 30 Minutes until the balls are firm to the touch.
For The Sauce
- Add the olive oil to a skillet.
- Next add the grape jelly and whisk until smooth and bubbling.
- Add the tamari, Paprika and Cayenne.
- Whisk until smooth.
- Simmer for 15 Minutes.
- Pour over cooked meatballs.
*If you use frozen meatballs, simply add the frozen meatballs to the sauce and simmer until warm.
**you can prepare the sauce, and add the meatballs to a crock pot and pour the cooked sauce over the meatballs and cook on low 4 to 6 hours.
