Fancy Cocktail Meatballs

Serves 10 – 12

For The Meatballs

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 Medium size yellow onion, minced
  • 1 T Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 C Bread Crumbs
  • 1/4 Milk
  • Salt & Pepper
  • 1 Egg


For The Sauce

  • 1 18oz Jar of Grape Jelly
  • 1 12oz Jar of Chili Sauce
  • 1T Cayenne Pepper
  • 1T Paprika
  • 2T Olive Oil
  • 2T Tamari Sauce
  • 1T Dried Parsley

To Make The Meatballs

  • Combine all the ingredients and mix well using your hands or a wooden spoon
  • Form 2inch balls and let rest on a cookie sheet for 30 min.
  • Bake in oven at 350 for 20 to 30 Minutes until the balls are firm to the touch.

For The Sauce

  • Add the olive oil to a skillet.
  • Next add the grape jelly and whisk until smooth and bubbling.
  • Add the tamari, Paprika and Cayenne.
  • Whisk until smooth.
  • Simmer for 15 Minutes.
  • Pour over cooked meatballs.

*If you use frozen meatballs, simply add the frozen meatballs to the sauce and simmer until warm.

**you can prepare the sauce, and add the meatballs to a crock pot and pour the cooked sauce over the meatballs and cook on low 4 to 6 hours.
