Meet Your New Party Dip ~ The Wedge Salad Dip
Are you ashamed of your dip game? Have you shown up to parties with a chili cheese dip in hand, one too many times? Get a dip makeover and bring this delight to your next party and I guarantee you will be invited to more.
Wedge Salad Dip
- 1 16 oz Container of Sour Cream
- 2 Packages of Cream Cheese, softened
- 2 Packets of Dry Ranch Dressing Mix
- 1/4 C Chives, minced
- 2 C of Lettuce, torn or cut into small pieces
- 1Cof Cherry Tomatoes, quartered
- 1C of Bacon, cooked
- 1C of Bleu Cheese, crumbled
- 2 T of French Dressing
Combine cream cheese, sour cream and Ranch dressing in a mixer and whip until fluffy.
Spread cream cheese mixture on a serving dish and top with Chives.
Layer the bacon on top of the lettuce.
Finally drizzle the French dressing across the top right before serving.
An alternative to this recipe is to omit the ranch dressing, reduce the sour cream by half and add Bleu Cheese dressing to the base. This is if you want a stronger Bleu cheese flavor. You can also add any dressing to the top. I add the French cause it gives it a zing.
I want to note that I got all of my ingredients at Aldi for around ten dollars and this dip was for a party with fifty guests.
Serve with pita crackers or tortilla chips.
This will be sure to up your Dip game.
Happy Eating!
