Pizza In A Bowl

Pepperoni Pizza Cheese Dip and Triscuits

Pepperoni Pizza Cheese Dip is made with cheese, sun dried tomato pesto, and some tangy Italian salad dressing mix to create a party in your mouth. This dip is perfect for taking on the boat, feeding summer parties, and is even delicious as a bagel spread.

I am a lover of dips. If there is a dip at a party, me and the dip are hanging out the whole time.

I started this project where I make a dip that is perfect for every classic cracker or chip, hence the invention of my Doritos Dip and my famous Triscuit Dip. I believe there is a dip or a spread for every snacking cracker or chip out there.

This Pepperoni Pizza Cheese Dip is also perfect for Triscuit crackers or, in my case as an Aldi shopper, Savoritz crackers.

This pizza dip hits all the right notes. I made this in the morning and put in the fridge to chill. The neighbors came over around eight in the evening and I presented it to them.

It was addicting. My neighbor kept pushing it across the counter towards me so she would stop eating it, because she could not stop otherwise.

It was that good.

There is a full recipe card at the end of the post. The card can be printed, screen shot, saved, or pinned. I just like to include a few pictures and paragraphs of information before the recipe card for those who may need clarification on any of the ingredients.

A jar of sun dried tomato pesto

Sun Dried Tomato Pesto

Any brand of this sun dried tomato pesto will do. When you are looking for this in the grocery store, it is usually with the pasta sauces though sometimes it is in the specialty food aisle with the Italian foods.

If you cannot find any product like this, increase the ketchup in the dip by two tablespoons and then also add 3 tablespoons of finely grated Parmesan cheese.

You should be easily able to find this though. I have found it everywhere, even in my rural lake house town in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

Zesty Italian dressing mix

It’s A Good Season

I love this classic food product. Does anyone remember when they use to sell Zesty Italian dressing mix and you got a free cruet to make the salad dressing in?

I loved that! This is the main ingredient in my Party Potluck Pasta Salad. Good Seasons Zesty Italian Dressing is truly sold everywhere, even on Amazon.

I keep a few of these on had at all times. It is also a good marinade for chicken or steak kabobs.

Tomato Basil Cheese

Shredded cheese next to a stand mixer

I am a frequent visitor to the gourmet cheese section in every grocery store. I have been buying this brand of Sartori Cheese forever.

They have so many different cheese varieties and it is also a Wisconsin brand! I see it everywhere.

I have also seen other brands of cheese that have some sort of tomato or Italian herb component.

This cheese is GREAT with this dip, but if you cannot find it, you can use a shredded provolone or mozzarella. Maybe you will also find your own special cheese that will compliment this dip.

Get creative.

Diced pepperoni

Pep In Your Step

I used the turkey pepperoni for this dip but you can omit the meat completely if you like. You can also use a salami or any other cured meat.

This dip will be just as good as a vegetarian option. I also think a nice prosciutto would be great.

Just be sure to dice any meat really small.

Simple Ingredients

The ingredients for the dip, including the Zesty Italian dressing mix, cheese, oregano, pepperoni, cream cheese, and mayo

This dip has pretty simple ingredients. Not pictured above is the tomato pesto or the ketchup.

The ketchup just helps even out all the flavors. I love the smoothness it adds as well.

You will also see in the recipe card that I use a tomato powder. This is the same tomato powder I use in my Tangy Tomato BLT Pasta Salad, which happens to be one of the most popular recipes on The Tipsy Housewife.

I order tomato powder from Amazon. You can also add it to soups and stews.

I have a ton of recipes on my site that use it. You can search “Tomato Powder” on my site and browse the recipes.
